For many years, Carolyne, as a member of a popular trio, shared the stage with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tom Jones and a host of notables, performing in world renowned venues on three continents. However, one of the things she's most thrilled about is having been chosen to be one of the sisters in the HBO special, "Sisters in the Name of Love," starring Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, and Dionne Warwick. As a songwriter and producer, Carolyne wrote for and/or produced many well-known performers, such as Gladys Knight, Della Reese, Nancy Wilson and countless others.
Natalie has traveled the globe heading up bands of all shapes and sizes. She has sung in front of major orchestras (e.g., Colorado Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Sinfonia Gulfcoast), headlined in Las Vegas, has been a New York and Los Angeles session singer and voice over artist and has starred on Broadway and in feature films opposite Oscar winner Denzel Washington. Classically trained, as a lead vocalist and principal performer, Natalie has graced the stages of the Houston Grand and Central City Operas and her credits include, among others, originating the role of Andrea Devereaux in Once On This Island.
Nadine is regularly seen performing at venues worldwide, from Las Vegas to Lebanon, and has opened for the likes of Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakum & Vonda Shepard. She was in the original cast of Children of Eden with Stephen Schwartz in New York and in Washington D.C., she appeared at The Kennedy Center with Artist Director, Placido Domingo.
Together, this talented trio revels in the joy of creating unforgettable harmonies that touch and transform people’s hearts forever.

The S.T.A.R.S. (Singers Taking Action Reaching Souls) is a nine-voice international vocal ensemble that has come together with the sole purpose of uplifting the planet with song. Nuhjume, (meaning "stars" in Arabic) the Trio from The S.T.A.R.S.: Carolyne, Natalie and Nadine, has been singing together for the past eight years at prestigious venues worldwide.
Harvey & Carolyne Fuqua founded The S.T.A.R.S. in the year 1995 as a result of their determination to inspire young talent and create a global community through music. Harvey Fuqua was a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, founder of the Moonglows, founding member of Motown Records, discoverer and mentor of Marvin Gaye, The Spinners, Jr. Walker, Etta James and countless internationally recognized artists. As director of Motown’s Artist Development department, Harvey was responsible for the presentation of all of the acts, and, if they are alive, they are still utilizing the skills he instilled in them. The S.T.A.R.S. are Harvey's legacy.
